ABSTRACT

Medical institutions constitute a core component of the public health system, and the effective integration of infectious disease prevention and control with health education within these institutions is crucial for overall public health. The trend of infectious diseases spreading within medical institutions is influenced by global threats of infectious diseases, particularly the emergence of new infectious diseases in recent years. Outbreaks of diseases such as SARS, H1N1, COVID-19, pose new challenges to the internal infectious disease prevention and control within medical institutions. Therefore, investigating internal prevention and control measures within medical institutions, strengthening health education, and promoting their integration hold significant importance, which is the focus of this study.
