ABSTRACT

Diastolic heart failure is a common type of heart disease, and this type of heart failure is particularly common in the elderly population and often co-exists with conditions such as high blood pressure, coronary artery disease and diabetes. As the population ages, the incidence of diastolic heart failure is on the rise, which poses a major challenge to the public health system. Therefore, this paper focuses on the causes, clinical manifestations, diagnostic methods, and treatment and prevention strategies of diastolic heart failure. Finally, the results of two groups of controlled experiments are as follows: The sensitivity of E/A (peak e to Peak a) ratio to accurately diagnose diastolic heart failure was 95.2%, and the sensitivity of blood BNP (Brain Natriuretic Peptide) level was 88.3%. Meanwhile, the combined treatment strategy is more effective than drug therapy in the treatment of patients with diastolic heart failure. At the public health level, the findings will help raise awareness of heart disease prevention and drive the development of more effective health policies and interventions.
