ABSTRACT

Colleges and universities, as the main recruiting body of volunteers for the Western Program. It has played an important role in the process of deeply implementing the western development project, and undertake the mission of selecting outstanding talents with firm ideals and beliefs, noble voluntary sentiments, and a willingness to selflessly dedicate themselves to the country, the west and grassroots level. The article analyzes the problems existing in the cultivation of volunteers of western plan in colleges and universities, and then puts forward targeted measures from colleges and universities, families, society, and individuals in an attempt to break the bottleneck of the front-end cultivation of volunteers of western plan in colleges and universities, so as to deliver young talents with practical experience to the cause of revitalization of China's countryside in a continuous manner.
