The emergence of the digital economy has reshaped the landscape of financial services, driving rapid innovation in financial technology (fintech). This paper delves into the intersection of fintech innovation and regulatory mechanisms within the framework of the digital economy. It discusses how technological advancements, such as blockchain, artificial intelligence, and big data analytics, are transforming traditional financial services and fostering financial inclusion. Moreover, the paper examines the evolving regulatory landscape, emphasizing the need for adaptive regulatory frameworks to balance innovation with consumer protection, market integrity, and systemic stability. By analyzing key regulatory challenges and emerging trends, this study provides insights into fostering a conducive environment for fintech innovation while ensuring effective regulatory oversight in the digital economy era.
