ABSTRACT

Since the 18th National Congress of the CPC, socialism with Chinese characteristics has opened a new era. The CPC Central Committee with the President at its core has continuously combined the basic principles of Marxism with China's concrete realities and traditional Chinese culture, thus forming the thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era (hereinafter referred to as "new thought"), it has reached a new height of adapting Marxism to China and The Times. A comprehensive understanding and systematic grasp of new thought is of unique value for contemporary students to gain insight into the world, transform the world and actively participate in social practice. The introduction of new thought into textbooks, curricula and minds is an important means to continuously improve college students' ability to understand and transform the world. This paper carries out practical research on the "three steps" work of new thought in universities, analyzes the practical difficulties faced in the process of "three steps" of new thought, and explores the practical path of "three steps" of new thought, which will help the Party's innovation theory enter the mind and heart, and help cultivate new people who take on the great responsibility of national rejuvenation.
