ABSTRACT

Maintaining intangible cultural heritage through sustainable tourism is crucial for keeping traditional practices and local craftsmanship vibrant. The example of flowery hair accessories shows how cultural traditions can evolve and stay popular while adapting to new contexts. By adopting sustainable tourism practices, these traditional crafts are not only preserved but also rejuvenated, helping them stay relevant in today's world. This approach ensures that these cultural expressions continue to thrive and that future generations can engage with and appreciates their heritage. Moreover, finding a balance between preserving heritage and meeting tourism demands is essential for protecting traditional artistry and techniques. As tourism expands, it's important to develop strategies that safeguard cultural heritage while also appealing to tourists. This balanced approach encourages a deeper cultural appreciation and supports the long-term sustainability of intangible cultural heritage. Ultimately, sustainable tourism is a valuable tool for preserving and promoting traditional crafts, ensuring their lasting popularity and significance in a constantly changing world.
