ABSTRACT

Objective: To study the correlation between the serum expression levels of miR-143 and miR-145 and the incidence of SSNHL. Methods: 20 cases of SSNHL were collected as the experimental group, and 20 cases of normal hearing were collected as the control group. The expression levels of miR-143 and miR-145 in serum were detected by real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR method, and the t-test and Logistic regression analysis were used for statistical analysis. Results: The expression levels of serum miR-143 and miR-145 in SSNHL group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion: The expression levels of miR-143 and miR-145 in serum were highly correlated with the incidence of SSNHL.
