The law-abiding obligation, or political obligation, is about whether citizens or residents bear the burden of abiding by a country's laws and respecting political institutions. The problem of moral obligation. There are many kinds of law-abiding obligation theories, but I think the utilitarian law-abiding theory is more reasonable in the contemporary.
