Research progress of high colonic dialysis in the treatment of chronic renal failure

ABSTRACT

Chronic renal failure has become one of the public health problems endangering the world. As renal function progressively declines, the ability of the kidneys to excrete toxins also declines. Through the continuous improvement of traditional enema methods, the effective clearance of intestinal toxins has gradually developed from traditional low retention enema to high colon dialysis, and the high level colon dialysis can replace the ability of kidney to excrete toxins to a certain extent, and has become a new treatment for chronic renal failure. This article reviews the research progress of high colon dialysis in the treatment of chronic renal failure by reading a lot of relevant literature.
