ABSTRACT

Firstly, the research objects and contents of engineering geology and geotechnical engineering are compared. Secondly, the contents and methods of water conservancy and Hydropower Engineering Geological Survey and architectural geotechnical engineering survey are described. Finally, the differences in various aspects between the two projects are introduced. From this, it is concluded that there is an essential distinction between water conservancy and Hydropower Engineering Geological Survey and building geotechnical engineering survey.
