ABSTRACT

Dementia with Lewy body (DLB) is a neurodegenerative disease characterized by fluctuating cognitive impairment, recurrent visual hallucinations and spontaneous Parkinson's syndrome. Although DLB has clear diagnostic criteria, its clinical manifestations are complex and difficult to diagnose. It can only be treated symptomatically and the prognosis is poor. By searching the relevant literature at home and abroad, the author summarizes and prospects the latest research progress in the pathogenesis, diagnosis, differentiation, and treatment of Lewy body dementia, hoping to provide reference for the clinical diagnosis and treatment of Lewy body dementia.
