In the face of an increasingly hostile international environment, China has a more urgent need to shift and upgrading the value chain in the post-pandemic era. This paper will compare the examples of industrial chain upgrading in Japan and South Korea to clarify the necessity, current situation and enlightenment for the Chinese government and enterprises of the current industrial chain upgrading in China.
