ABSTRACT

Tie-dyeing and batik are traditional Chinese crafts with folk characteristics, which are famous for their simple colours and unique patterns. This paper mainly studies the application of tie-dyeing and batik dyeing in fashion design, and deeply analyses the traditional handmade printing and dyeing technology in today's era. At the same time, according to the characteristics of tie dyeing and batik dyeing and the colour style of their application, the impact on modern clothing is analysed. In the traditional folk handmade printing and dyeing technology, tie-dyeing and batik have different styles and arts, which have different characteristics of beauty. The combination of traditional handmade printing and dyeing artistic style and fashion design is helpful to the inheritance and continuity of traditional folk handmade printing and dye art.
