ABSTRACT

In recent years, MOE of PRC attaches great importance to the construction of vocational college students' ideological and political education. The physical culture of higher vocational colleges is closely related to the ideological and political education in material culture, spiritual culture and institutional culture. Sports activities can help college students establish a correct outlook on life, values and world outlook. At the same time, it can improve students' psychological quality. At present, it is necessary to let the sports activities in higher vocational colleges play a better role in the ideological and political education through PE classroom teaching, extracurricular clubs, competitive competitions and so on. This paper first analyses the effect of physical activities on ideological and political education in higher vocational colleges, and then puts forward improvement measures, hoping to help relevant scholars.
