ABSTRACT

Cultivation and practice of college students' socialist core values is to cultivate qualified builders and successors of socialist cause with Chinese characteristics of the internal requirement, It is also the realistic need of strengthening and improving ideological and political work in colleges and universities in the new era. This paper discusses the connotation of the concept of socialist core values, cultivating and practicing the socialist core values education era significance, give full play to the cultural education, teacher education, the ideological and political theory course, the network and emerging media, social practice education, and the effective ways of colleges and universities to cultivate and practice the socialist core values etc.
