ABSTRACT

By 2018, the scale of China's art colleges has exceeded 100. In these art schools, music has always been a major category in the professional setting of colleges and universities, and an important part of professional settings. In this era, the demand for talents in the society is growing, and the requirements for talent training are getting higher and higher. In the cultivation of art talents, especially for the cultivation of practical music professionals, it is particularly prominent. In the teaching of music majors, Harmony is one of the important basic courses. The quality of learning will directly affect students' accomplishments in professional development and literacy. Therefore, this paper discusses the development of the harmony course teaching in the music majors of today's art academies, and problems to be solved.
