ABSTRACT
The aging of the rural population has become an important aspect restricting the sustainable development of China's economy. How to properly solve the problems of the survival and development of the rural population has always been the work of the Chinese government. This paper summarizes the experiences of western developed countries in solving rural pension problems, and puts forward the recommended measures for rural mutual assistance and pension in combination with the actual situation of rural elderly population in China.
