ABSTRACT

Paper-cut is a splendid folk art of the Chinese nation, among which the carved paper-cut in Mianyang, hubei province is also an important part. Folk art is absolutely inseparable from folk craftsmen, if we want to protect the inheritance and development of Mianyang carved paper cutting, of course, excellent handicraft inheritors are indispensable, the protection of intangible cultural heritage is the focus, it is the most important to protect a few craftsmen and cultivate new inheritors. This paper mainly through the field investigation and practice of hubei Mianyang carved paper cutting research, the introduction of Mianyang carved paper cutting and its basic characteristics, production process and technology research.
