ABSTRACT

Influenced by the Theory of Language Tools, the Study of Traditional Chinese Medicine Chinese English Dictionaries Focuses on the Equal Description of Language Forms and Translated Texts, But It Weakens the Role of Social Politics, Historical Culture, Cognitive Tendency and Other Factors in the Process of Compiling Dictionaries, So It is Unable to Fully Explain the Historical Evolution and Characteristics of Chinese Medicine English Translation. Critical Linguistics Focuses on the Role of Language in the Construction of Social Power, Emphasizes the Interaction among Language, Power and Ideology, and Opens Up a Macro and Diachronic Research Perspective for Chinese-English Lexicography of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Its Research Path Focuses on the Historical Evolution and Relevance of Chinese-English Translation Discourse, Language Policy and Power, and the Relationship between Language and Culture. the Critical Linguistics Research Path of Chinese-English Dictionary of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Combing the Dictionary Pedigree, Tracing Back to the Source, Revealing the Historical Track of the Development of the Dictionary, Also Provides a Solid Theoretical Basis and Basis for the Subsequent Revision and Improvement of the Dictionary.
