ABSTRACT

As a network that judges according to semantics, semantic web relies on ontology to summarize and structure the domain situation to a great extent. The application of modern distance education technology to adult English teaching can further promote the reform and development of adult English teaching and improve the efficiency of adult English teaching. Compared with traditional teaching methods, it has its advantages, but it also has some disadvantages. Applying semantic web and ontology technology to the distance education system will make the existing distance education system semantic, and the system can have better communication with students, to a certain extent, improve students' learning efficiency and promote students' learning enthusiasm. The construction of adult English teaching mode based on modern educational technology of semantic web can change the traditional computer-aided adult English teaching mode and promote the reform of adult English teaching.
