ABSTRACT

as international exchanges become more frequent, intercultural communication, as an emerging discipline, is receiving more and more attention. Language learning is actually a culture of language learning, with the ultimate purpose of communication. This article mainly discusses pragmatic failures in cross-cultural communication and analyzes the causes of pragmatic failures.
