ABSTRACT

Xi Jinping's concept of youth ideals and beliefs is a scientific understanding of youth formed under the guidance of Marxist youth concepts, combined with China's national conditions and the characteristics of youth development in the new era. Contemporary college students are in the critical period of growth, and also the period of the formation of ambitious ideals. However, due to factors such as bad information on the Internet, some college students have problems such as unsteady beliefs and deviations in values. Ideological and political education is an important way to help college students establish their ideals. In the new era, how to use Xi Jinping's youth ideals and beliefs to carry out ideological and political education, and how to improve the efficiency of ideological and political education need further research. This article first expounds the connotation and value of the times of Xi Jinping's youth ideals and beliefs, and focuses on the strategies of ideological and political education based on Xi Jinping's youth ideals and beliefs.
