ABSTRACT
Based on facts and reasonable assumptions, this paper analyzes the expansion project of Sandakan Airport in Malaysia by means of cost-benefit analysis, including both economic and social benefits. In addition, the reasonable analysis concludes that the expansion project of Sandakan Airport in Malaysia should not be implemented if only the future economic benefits are considered. But based on the social benefits, the Sandakan Airport expansion project should be implemented, and we provide recommendations for cost-cutting and increase economic benefits.
