ABSTRACT

As a kind of input-output device with high immersion and real-time human-computer interaction, the helmet mounted display has good applications in medical, military and entertainment industries. This paper mainly discusses the development history, key technologies, and practical applications of the helmet mounted display, and focuses on its application in the field of virtual reality and augmented reality technology. Finally, we describe its future development trend.
