ABSTRACT
British and American literature is one of the important parts of British and American culture. It enjoys a high reputation in the treasure house of world culture and promotes the prosperity and development of world culture to a certain extent. In order to understand Anglo-American literature in depth, this article analyzes the use of Anglo-American literary works in a cross-cultural context from the principle of language characteristics.
