ABSTRACT
Analyze the important role of urban public transport in promoting urban development. Based on the current situation and existing problems of urban public transport in China, combining with typical city cases, the corresponding public transport development strategies for different scale cities are given; From the aspects of policies and regulations, infrastructure construction and financial subsidy, the mechanism to ensure the rational development of urban public transport is given.
