ABSTRACT

Exosomes are extracellular vesicles with a diameter of about 40-100nm and a double-layer lipid structure. Exosomes secreted by a variety of cells contain a variety of RNA and proteins like microRNA, LncRNA, Circ RNA, exosome synthesis-related proteins and transfilm protein, etc. Exosomes play an important role in the clinical application of tumor treatment. It can be used as a marker for early diagnosis of tumors, diagnostic typing, recurrence monitoring, treatment monitoring, etc. In addition, exosomes can also be used as protein drug carriers, RNA drug carriers, and chemical drug carriers for tumor treatment. This article introduces the different applications of exosomes as markers in tumors and their therapeutic effects as different kinds of drug carriers in tumors.
