ABSTRACT

In English teaching, the cultivation of cultural awareness is an issue that cannot be ignored. On the one hand, the cultivation of cross-cultural awareness can have many positive effects on English teaching, such as increasing students' interest, improving their learning efficiency, and enhancing their language practical application ability. However, at the same time, English teaching should also avoid the negative impact of foreign cultural invasion. Compared to other disciplines, the responsibility of language education is more important, and the cultivation of cultural awareness is of paramount importance. This article provides an in-depth exploration of the current situation, difficulties, and solutions in cultivating cultural awareness in English teaching.
