ABSTRACT

The widespread application of virtual reality technology in the field of surveying and mapping engineering has garnered attention for the construction and educational applications in university laboratories. Against this backdrop, this paper explores the importance and potential value of using virtual reality technology for the construction and educational applications of surveying and mapping engineering university laboratories. By analyzing existing research and practical experiences, a systematic laboratory construction plan is proposed with the aim of promoting students' profound understanding of surveying and mapping engineering and cultivating practical operational skills.
