Wantong PeiABSTRACT
This article analyzes the bankruptcy case of Baoshang Bank and draws the following conclusion: Firstly, the root cause of Baoshang Bank's bankruptcy is the hollowing out of major shareholders. Under the continuous occupation of Tomorrow Group, the three meetings and one layer of Baoshang Bank had not played a good role. Secondly, Baoshang Bank also faced problems such as non-standard information disclosure, chaotic salary system, and abuse of power by management, which have led to serious problems in corporate governance. In addition, the external regulatory authorities did not take timely measures to address the internal issues of Baoshang Bank, which is also one of the important reasons why Baoshang Bank ultimately went bankrupt.
