ABSTRACT

The Fundamental Theorem of Plane Vectors plays an important role in high school mathematics and serves as an important bridge for students to transition from geometric vector operations to algebraic operations. Based on solo classification theory, this paper classifies students' cognitive development into five levels: pre-structural, uni-structural, multi-structural, associative structural and extended abstract structural, and designs hierarchical teaching activities accordingly. It aims to optimise the quality of teaching and learning, promote students' deep learning, and lay a solid foundation for their mathematical learning and development through instructional design that conforms to the laws of students' cognitive development.
