ABSTRACT

The Bishop’s theorem states that a Riemannian manifold with Ricci curvature larger than the standard n-sphere has less volume. This paper mainly reviews the Hubert Bray’s proof of Bishop’s volume comparison theorem with isoperimetric technique. Some details in the proof are optimized to address this issue more clearly.
