ABSTRACT

The complexity of China folk culture is mainly manifested in the fact that the cultures of different ethnic groups will absorb the cultures of other ethnic groups in the process of development, assimilate their core contents and turn them into a part of their own folk culture. Contemporary oil painting creation should fully learn from the spiritual concept of folk culture and further improve the spiritual realm of works, which is particularly important in oil painting creation. Only in this way can we stimulate more creative inspiration and promote the continuous development of contemporary oil painting art. At the same time, it is necessary to combine the local customs and folk customs of different regions, so that oil painting creation can be more vividly presented in folk culture and emotion, which can be closer to the world in real life. In China's contemporary oil painting creation, many cultural elements of folk culture should be fully and effectively absorbed and effectively integrated into oil painting creation, so as to create works that meet people's aesthetic needs and realize the value of oil painting creation. This paper focuses on the application of folk culture in China's contemporary oil painting creation, that is, oil painting creation should learn from the spirit, traditional elements and affinity contained in folk culture. With the help of oil painting art, we can inherit folk culture and explore the significance of oil painting creation in China.
