ABSTRACT

In the case of public health emergencies, “anti epidemic” art works are an indispensable part of social spirit and culture. Chinese anti epidemic art works are an important carrier to express realistic humanistic care to the public, and play a role in comforting the public's mind and improving the public's aesthetic. It is also an important means for artists to fight the epidemic and boost morale. This paper takes the journals of major domestic art academies and core art paper periodicals from 2019 to 2021 as the research object, and tries to touch the essence and direction of art creation in the post epidemic era by combing the schema of “epidemic theme” works, statistical analysis of data and typological interpretation, and summarizes the creative ideology of “epidemic theme” works in paper media periodicals.
