ABSTRACT
This article comprehensively explores the function of ecological discourse in the language system from the perspective of systemic functional linguistics. This paper first introduces the significance of ecological discourse, and then starting from the three angles of pragmatics, semantics and phonetics, it points out that the use of ecological discourse can promote people’s attention and recognition of environmental protection and contribute to the realization of sustainable progress.
