ABSTRACT
This paper aims to discuss the application and influence of big data in optimizing project management decision. By summarizing relevant literature and in-depth analysis, this paper reveals how big data supports data-based decision-making and the difference between big data and traditional decision-making methods, and expounds in detail the optimization function of big data in all aspects of project management, such as project planning, implementation and monitoring. The research results show that big data not only improves the efficiency and accuracy of project management, but also helps to find potential problems and risks in time, so as to make more scientific and reasonable decisions. In addition, this paper also puts forward some suggestions on strengthening data quality and processing capacity, data security and privacy protection, which provides a useful reference for promoting the application of big data in engineering project management.
