ABSTRACT
With the swift advancement of Internet technology, the pedagogical approach to ideological and political education in higher education institutions is undergoing significant transformation. Conventional teaching methodologies are increasingly integrated with online instruction, blended learning, and other digital modalities, thereby significantly diversifying the avenues for educational resources and instructional formats. This study explores the ramifications of the Internet on ideological and political education within universities, examines the implementation of digital resources, flipped classroom strategies, blended learning, and other innovative approaches in this field, and identifies the challenges and countermeasures to navigate in the Internet era. The findings indicate that the reformulation of teaching techniques in the context of the Internet not only amplifies student engagement and self-directed learning capabilities but also revitalizes the content and format of ideological and political education. Ultimately, this paper anticipates the potential future applications of the Internet and artificial intelligence technologies in enhancing ideological and political education.
