ABSTRACT
This paper aims to delve into the innovations and practical implementations of educational models within universities through the lens of new media, addressing the challenges and opportunities posed by the swift progression of information technology in the education sector. Employing a range of research methodologies, the paper consolidates findings on the integration of new media with higher education, examines new media applications in educational frameworks, and gathers perspectives and recommendations from college faculty and students via questionnaires regarding educational models in the context of new media. The findings indicate that the incorporation of new media technology substantially enhances educational outcomes in universities, manifesting in diversified teaching content and resources, novel teaching methodologies and tools, as well as refined assessment systems and feedback mechanisms. This research serves as a valuable reference for reforming higher education in the new media era, facilitating the evolution of higher education models that are both contemporary and high-quality.
