ABSTRACT
In the Internet age, the change of information dissemination mode poses a severe challenge to ideological security, and also provides new opportunities for the development of online ideological and political education (IPE). Based on this, this article deeply analyzes the characteristics of Internet information dissemination, the main threats to ideological security, and the role of online IPE in resisting the erosion of bad ideas, spreading mainstream ideology and promoting social harmony and stability. It is found that online IPE plays an irreplaceable role in maintaining ideological security, but it also faces challenges such as insufficient communication of educational content and audience participation, conflict of multiple values, and rapid technological update. In order to meet these challenges, this article puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions, such as strengthening interdisciplinary cooperation, establishing and perfecting evaluation system and strengthening the construction of teachers. The conclusion shows that network IPE is an important way to maintain ideological security, and we must attach great importance to its construction and development.
