ABSTRACT
This article discusses the modular design and implementation strategy of career development and employment guidance courses in higher vocational colleges (HVC) in order to improve students' professional quality and employment competitiveness. In terms of methods, this article designs the modular scheme of career development and employment guidance course in detail, including the division of course modules, the design of module content and the innovation of teaching methods and means. Guided by the principles of systematicness and independence, this article divides the course into several modules, such as career planning, job-seeking skills and workplace adaptation. Each module is closely focused on students' career development and employment needs, and diversified teaching methods and means are adopted to enhance the teaching effect. The results show that the modular design of career development and employment guidance course can better meet the individual needs of students and improve the pertinence of teaching. Through the establishment of curriculum assessment and feedback mechanism, the problems existing in curriculum implementation can be found and improved in time, and the teaching quality and effect can be continuously improved. Therefore, this article draws the conclusion that the modular design of career development and employment guidance course is an effective way to improve the vocational quality and employment competitiveness of college students.
