ABSTRACT

Introduction to Communication is a compulsory course for media majors in Taishan University, and it is the basic course for other media courses and related professional courses. Starting from the guiding ideology of ideological and political education in Introduction to Communication, this paper constructs the ideological and political goal of this course, so as to dig out the elements and functions of ideological and political education contained in the course, and integrate case teaching method, discussion method, situational method and debate method into all aspects of classroom teaching to realize the organic unity of ideological and political education and knowledge system education. At the same time, through the formulation of assessment methods and standards, good teaching results can be achieved, and then the coordination and unity of curriculum objectives, professional training objectives and school personnel training objectives can be realized.
