ABSTRACT

In today's era of globalization, ideological and political education plays a vital role in university education. Traditional ideological and political education methods are often too single and dogmatic, and cannot effectively meet the diversified needs of college students. Therefore, we need to find new ways and methods to improve the effect of ideological and political education. As the crystallization of human wisdom, literary classics have rich ideological connotation and humanistic value, which can provide new perspectives and enlightenment for college students' ideological and political education. The purpose of this paper is to explore how to provide a new perspective and enlightenment for college students' ideological and political education by reading literary classics. By analyzing the rich ideological connotations contained in classic literary works, we can help college students improve their moral quality, enhance their humanistic quality and cultivate their critical thinking.
