The application of the flipped classroom teaching model in college English education has become a research hotspot in the current educational field. Through a systematic literature review and empirical research, this study explores the advantages and challenges of the flipped classroom teaching model in improving students' English learning outcomes and cultivating their autonomous learning abilities. By analyzing the role changes of teachers and students in the flipped classroom, the study investigates the impact of this teaching model on students' academic performance and teaching satisfaction.
