In today's society, education has been given unprecedented importance, and parents, as essential companions and guides in the development of children, are increasingly concerned about the influence of their involvement on students' academic performance. As the primary stage of the education system, Pupils' academic performance reflects the degree of knowledge mastery and predicts the potential for future learning and development. Therefore, we need to to explore the influence of parents' participation on pupils' academic performance. It has some advantages. On the one hand, it is helpful to understand the mechanism of family education. On the other hand, it provides a theoretical basis and practical guidance for improving the quality of elementary school students' education. Based on the literature analysis method, this study systematically combed domestic and international research results on the relationship between parental involvement and students' academic achievement, aiming to reveal the critical role of parental involvement in improving primary school students' academic performance and its realization path.
