ABSTRACT

With the increase in the elderly population, China has entered an aging society. Actively responding to the aging society has become the key work of elderly education. Relying on its special management mechanism and unique geographical location, Guangzhou has explored distinctive experience in elderly education. Combined with the rich experience of Huangpu District in promoting elderly education, this paper sorts out the practical experience of the three-level network construction for elderly education with the participation of private colleges and universities, constructs a unique three-level school-running system of district-subdistrict (town)-neighborhood (village) committee, and clarifies the main responsibilities of each level of the school-running system, so as to provide reference experience for the construction of the three-level network for elderly education under the background of active aging.
