ABSTRACT

To explore the effect of kindergarten teachers’ recovery experience on job satisfaction and to examine the mediating effect of occupational well-being in this relationship. A total of 338 kindergarten teachers from one province completed a questionnaire survey using the Recovery Experience Scale, the Occupational Well-Being Scale, and the Job Satisfaction Scale. Descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, and regression analysis were conducted using SPSS 26.0, and the mediating effect was tested using the Bootstrap method. The results showed that recovery experience was significantly and positively correlated with occupational well-being and job satisfaction, and occupational well-being was significantly and positively correlated with job satisfaction. Furthermore, recovery experience significantly and positively predicted job satisfaction and occupational well-being. Occupational well-being played a significant partial mediating role between recovery experience and job satisfaction. These findings suggest that recovery experience not only directly enhances kindergarten teachers' job satisfaction but also further improves their job satisfaction by enhancing occupational well-being.
