ABSTRACT

Scientifically constructing the content system of ideological and political education in my country's universities, guiding and helping university students to establish correct outlook on life, world outlook and values, and correcting their ideological and political deviations are the fundamental manifestation of the important political advantages of ideological and political work in my country’s universities, and it is also the construction of a harmonious society. Implement the strategy of strengthening talents, highlight social fairness and justice, and reflect the needs of a responsible government. At present, ideological and political education in my country's colleges and universities still has problems such as idealization, insufficient effectiveness, poor pertinence, and unclear content levels. According to the group characteristics of college students in my country in the new century and the actual status of ideological and political education in colleges and universities, the fundamental goal of ideological and political education in colleges and universities is to promote its all-round development, and the realistic goal is to enhance their enthusiasm, initiative and creativity. Work should be political and democratic. The fundamental principles of equality and the combination of virtuality and reality focus on the use of fundamental methods such as theoretical indoctrination, practical exercise, educating through the Internet, and network edification. The content of education focuses on strengthening the education of political, moral, employment, mental health, and creativity.
