ABSTRACT

The imagery of a city constitutes the city's external image, reflecting its the historical changes and core temperament. As one of the city symbols of Guangzhou, the arcade appears in different kinds of literary works at high frequency. It records the civil memories of city development and reflects the cultural openness of Guangzhou.
