ABSTRACT

The construction of ideological and political education teaching system has become the teaching focus of Chinese universities. The construction of college English curriculum aims to cultivate college students with strong cultural quality and English ability. Therefore, the importance of ideological and political education system and English teaching system is beyond doubt. However, the current construction of the curriculum ideological and political education system is still in the exploratory stage, and is faced with many deficiencies. This chapter tries to explore a more reasonable and perfect college English curriculum system by systematically analyzing the problems facing the current college English curriculum and the basic principles of establishing an innovative English curriculum system on the ideological and political basis.
