ABSTRACT

As a highlight of the Amendment to the Criminal Law of the People's Republic of China (9), "Lifelong imprisonment" has aroused heated discussion among scholars since its introduction. In this regard, this paper explores the nature and application of lifelong imprisonment, and reflections on the System of Lifelong Imprisonment.
